[Beginners Corner] - Documentation and configuration 4.2.0.GA/4.2.1.GA

Is there a specific install document for JBoss AS 4.2.0.GA/4.2.1.GA including a configuration guide? For older versions there is JEMS installer. Will there be a jar release of 4.2.0.GA/4.2.1.GA that uses JEMS? [Tomcat, HTTPD, Servlets & JSP] - Virtual Hosts and JNDI

Does anyone know how to configure a separate JNDI context for each virtual host using the same war? Gavin Sorry to keep buggin you, but can you point me in the direction of an example showing how to bind to the BP ctx and then retrive in the @create Ive done everything that i can , but the damn inject values are allways null.... @Out(scope=BUSINESS_PROCESS, required = false) String aString .... aString = "WooooHoooo" and then @Create doYourStuff(){ System.out.print(aString); } ..... i cant see where im screwing up a pointer in the right direction or example will be ample to see me through this. [JBoss Portal] - Multiple instance of same portlet on same page

hi, I am facing some problems with Multiple instance of same portlet on same page. I am creating a simple portlet which will be redirected to a JSP page having some input fields and having some buttons. Based on the user login I am enabling/disabling the buttons using javascript.(document.formName.buttonName.disabled = true) I created multiple instances of same portlet in the Dashboard. I found that for one instance the buttons are disabled/enabled as per the logic but for the second instance its throwing java script error as (document.formName.buttonName is null or not an object) the two instances(JSP) has the same FORM name in a single page. Is that I have to include some portlet tags in jsp to avoid this behavior. Thanks in advance. Hi, I think I made some progress, like solve the question about JAVA_HOME was pointing to a JRE. At least the jboss don't complaining about it anymore (I guess). Thats the inicition startup process: ========================================================================= JBoss Bootstrap Environment JBOSS_HOME: /windows/jboss-4.0.5.GA.zip_FILES/jboss-4.0.5.GA JAVA: /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-sun//bin/java JAVA_OPTS: -Dprogram.name=run.sh -server -Xms128m -Xmx512m -Dsun.rmi.dgc.client.gcInterval=3600000 -Dsun.rmi.dgc.server.gcInterval=3600000 CLASSPATH: /windows/jboss-4.0.5.GA.zip_FILES/jboss-4.0.5.GA/bin/run.jar:/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-sun//lib/tools.jar ========================================================================= But there are some another problems, among them I realize that: 1) 17:31:18,050 WARN [ServiceController] Problem starting service jboss:service=WebService java.lang.Exception: Port 8083 already in use. How can I change this port, or how can I ask to my Debian 4.0 what programs is using this port? About it I made: netstat -nlp but I did not see 8083. 2) 17:54:38,001 ERROR [MainDeployer] Could not create deployment: file:/windows/jboss-4.0.5.GA.zip_FILES/jboss-4.0.5.GA/server/default/deploy/jboss-aop.deployer/ org.jboss.deployment.DeploymentException: Trying to install an already registered mbean: jboss.aop:service=AspectManager About it, I had been startup a jboss from a brand new extracted directory.
