Exceptions like that normally indicate you have multiple copies of the class in your classpath. Check your packaging structure. As suggested by you I went with approach 2 and added my class in default-ds file But the switchover happened without giving control to my class. Am I missing anything? Even with a junk value like the one below the switchover happened without issues..... <url-selector-strategy-class-name>abcd</url-selector-strategy-class-name> To remind again, I am using 4.0.5 GA version of Jboss. [JBoss Seam] - destroying the entire conversation stack through annotation?

There are situations where I would like to be able to destroy the entire conversation stack if a particular action occurs (say a user cancels everything during a nested conversation). I am currently accomplishing this through the following: | private void endRootConversation() { | Conversation conversation = Conversation.instance(); | | while(conversation.isNested()) { | conversation.root(); | } | | conversation.endBeforeRedirect(); | } | Is is possible to end the root conversation through annotation, or is there potentially a better approach? It is of course possible to create my own annotation, say @EndRoot, but this seems like going around the framework. I would prefer to say something like @End(root=true). Hi, I am sorry if this has been posted before. I did a search and nothing came back. I developed a very simple EJB3.0 Stateless Session Bean. [Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - EAR classpath

How can I make my application (EAR archive) have in its classpath some external location (external to jboss) e.g. c:\classes. ? I tried adding the URL to the UnifiedClassloader of my application and it worked - but the path is now visible to all other applications - which is not wanted. [JBoss Seam] - pdf in Internet Explorer is not working

Hey guys, i hope somebody knows what i am doing wrong. I am using iText with Seam to create a dynamic pdf document. The pdf is fine while viewing it in Firefox, but when i am trying to view pdf in Internet Explorer, it shows only header and doesn't render the rest of the document. You said you are using the customer to query your data yet you have .setParameter("SID", patient.getId()), where does the patient variable come from?
