[Persistence, JBoss/CMP, Hibernate, Database] - update using data from multiple tables

Hello there! I'm trying to figure out how to do this in JPQL. It's a pretty straightforward statement but I'm at a loss as of finding any example on how to do this. All example queries I can find are of the very simple sort. Here's an example of a multi table update in ordinary SQL. It associates a call with the owner active at the time of that call. UPDATE cdr_raw, inventory_anr, anr SET cdr_raw.inventory_anrid = inventory_anr.id WHERE inventory_anr.anrid = anr.id AND cdr_raw.anr = anr.nr AND cdr_raw.ts >= inventory_anr.stimeframe AND (cdr_raw.ts < inventory_anr.etimeframe OR inventory_anr.etimeframe is null); Please, if any of you knows more about this then post a reply here. It would be greatly appreciated. [JBoss Seam] - Re: Problem removing

I am trying to register our filters in the web.xml file of our application. Does the <filter-name> attribute in the web.xml have to match the value given to the @Name Annotation of the filter class? Any thoughts on why the Null Pointer is thrown in the jboss SeamFilter class? From the stacktrace I get, there is no mention of my filter class at all. Thanks for the help. jbpm has a java api and can be addressed via JMS or remote ejb. A webservices interface is under development but with low prio.... so if you can interface with one of the first three, is it can be done. [JBoss Seam] - Problem with a4j reRender and s:button disabled property

Hi, I've got a search page with some select boxes and a search button. Upon a search the data model list is filled and a series of action buttons below is enabled or disabled depending on the values that have been selected in the h:selectOneMenu lists. So far so good. However, I can not click the button since as the source code of the page reveals, the button's property "disabled" is still set (to the value "disabled"). I'm not sure whether this due to Seam or A4JSF. I tried with the latest version 1.1.1 of A4J. How can I make sure the disabled flag is also reset? It depends on a query to the bean which in turn takes a look at the selected values. May there be some problem in the order in which everything gets executed? Cheers Markus P.S.
