[JBoss Seam] - problem with unicodes in itext

hi,, i use itext2.0.1 and seam 1.2.1 when i try to generate a pdf with unicode characters (farsi or arabic) seam dont generate these characters. when a document contains both farsi and english characters, seam only generate a pdf with english characters what i do ? so you are looking for a "copy but do not preserve directory structure" option ? not sure if that is viable. Any reason why you don't put this in a hbm/ directory somewhere instead of spreading them around when you don't seem to use that spread anyway. [JBoss Seam] - Does the JPA/tomcat example require Embedded Jboss?

It also looks like it's missing hibernate jars). Could someone clear this up? [JNDI/Naming/Network] - JBoss not stopping after Websphere MQ Restart

Hi All, I have a Jboss Application running on a Linux machine connecting to a Queue Manager on Websphere MQ running on an AIX box. I have a cron script that is executed every Sunday evening to stop (shutdown.sh) and start (run.sh) this JBoss application. About three and a half hours before this cron script runs, the Queue manager that the application is connecting to gets restarted for backup purposes. There is a 15 minutes delay between the Shutdown.sh and the run.sh. The problem I have is that sometime the Shutdown.sh script hangs and doesn't stop the application, then 15 minutes later, the run.sh script gets executed and then I have two instances running. I can force it to stop buy doing a kill -9, But I just want to find out whats causing this. [JBoss jBPM] - Scalability of JBPM

Hi all, My company will be submitting an RFP for a project that will require a huge amount of rules, well over 250,000. I've used JBPM and the drools integration before, and been very happy with it. However, I've never deployed it on a scale this massive. Can the jboss BPM handle the amount of rules, and still perform well? The deployment would be across a clustered system, and accessed via web services. Why don't you increase the timeout to 5 minutes and see if the problem doesn't go away? 5 seconds is pretty short if the disk is somehow busy or you're storing large object. Having the same issue: ant deploy-jboss40 breaks on Could not find file ..\server\default\deploy\jbossws.sar\META-INF\jboss-service-no-ejb3.xml and after getting the file (thanks to http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBWS-1796) breaks on Could not find file ..\server\default\deploy\jbossws.sar\jbossws.beans\META-INF\jboss-beans-no-ejb3.xml Where can I get jboss-beans-no-ejb3.xml? I mean I simply have outputText element showing conversation.id. After the page is loaded the first time the conversation ID shows 1 and the link as I see it in the browser's status bar is .../home.seam?cid=1&conversationPropagation=join But when I click the link the conversation ID goes up to 2, and the link changes to .../home.seam?cid=2&conversationPropagation=join >From the second click onwards the page doesn't change. anonymous wrote : It is not necessary to know all the intracacies of JSF to write Seam apps :) Seam abstracts most of the details of JSF so you don't have to worry about them making it very easy to develop applications.
