[JBoss Seam] iText pdf generation

Hi people! I'm new with seam and i would like to know how can i set the location for a text in an absolute position in a pdf generated by iText. Something like: <p:text xposition="20" yposition="78" value="#{product.price}"> <f:convertNumber type="currency" currencySymbol="$"/> </p:text> Is there a feature like this? How can i emulate this behavior? I just need to locate some text in a exact place in the coordinate systems. Sorry for the newbie question and the bad english. Thanks in advance Humber

Another midnight is through, but stupid me has found the culprit: As part of the backport from Seam 2.0.0 to 1.2.1 I changed from JSF RI to MyFaces, but I still tried to use server side state saving, which seems to be known to be buggy: http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=108488 Currently I am working with client side state saving and it works fine. Unfortunately I probably have to get server side state saving to work, because my client's web development guidelines forbid hidden input field. Even more unfortunately there were issues with Trinidad and JSF RI last time I tried, so that's not an easy way either. I'll check again, maybe now with Trinidad 1.0.2 and JSF RI 1.1 I'll have more luck. However right now I am totally fed up with trying to get different frameworks to work together. Thanks for the response. I don't think that will work for me though. What I want is a way to use the pojoCache to store the pdf, so I can have a servlet that the user requests a pdf from and after checking that the user has access to the pdf then it serves it from the cache or -- renders it, caches it, sends it the problem with access the DocumentStore from the conversation is that the user has to have already triggered the render from their browser.. I'd like to be able to trigger the rendering from within my servlet.. I took a look at the JNDI code and the problem wasn't there. In looking at the code, I believe the problem is that when the persistence-unit configuration which specifies the jta-data-source is processed, the datasource is looked up and stored as part of the persistence-unit information. It doesn't keep looking up the entry specified in jta-data-source. I'm now thinking that I need to do something at the datasource level. Is there something there that I can subclass to introduce my own code for getting the connection? i'm using seam 1.2.1 with the richfaces 3.1.0-rc6... just replaced the old richfaces library and removed the ajax4jsf one and it worked like a charm!
