You can look in two places: a) docs/licenses/thirdparty-licenses.xml b) the META-INF/MANIFEST.MF file of the JAR file I usually prefer option "b". The shutdown script uses the jndi port and assumes it is the default setting of 1099. [JBoss Cache: Core Edition] - transaction and ejb3 transaction annotation

hi all, i've deployed jboss cache 2.2 within my ear in jboss as 4.2.3 and configured it to use the as transaction manager i call the cache from an ejb3 annotated to be transactional as inside it, there are db updates and cache inserts too. the cache is configurated to use optimistic lock but i notice that the transaction always commit, the db is correctly updated, but the cache always miss i think that the problem could be that the cache never commits... i never call explicitily the jta api, cause if i try to call tm.begin() i get a transaction state exception because there is yet a transaction associated to the current thread. perhaps i don't want to suspend this transaction, but partecipate to it... where i'm wrong?? tnx in advance View the original post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=4186117#4186117 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=4186117

[JBossWS] - Diff. between web.xml and web.xml.org?

When I deploy a web service then in the JBoss WAR directory there are suddenly 2 web.xml files: - web.xml and - web.xml.org The web.xml.org looks like my original descriptor while web.xml changed significantly. What is the difference? I've also tried having the ProcessAdminEJB implement the Remote Interface, rather than the business interface, with the same results. You shouldn't need to copy anything. This error occurs because the user is attempting to start a clustered post office in a non clustered JBoss configuration. E.g. user is trying to start JBM clustered in the "default" configuration. He should be using the "all" configuration. In the "all" configuration, jgroups.jar is already present.
