You could do an exploded deployment: http://www.jboss.org/community/docs/DOC-9719. Then changes to static items and JSPs are picked up right away (might need a browser refresh). You can also declare an external directory for deployment, and place your exploded war directory there. One of my pet peeves is error messages like the one you got. If the developer who wrote the code to generate the error message would have taken the extra 5 seconds to add the name of the file in question to the error message, then thousands of developers would have saved countless hours chasing false leads. Below is not what you asked for, but it does much the same thing and with it and your knowledge of Spring you should be able to get where you want. JBC parses its config file into a instance of org.jboss.cache.config.Configuration. Configuration is a Java Bean that uses property injection, so Spring should have no trouble creating one. See http://www.jboss.org/file-access/default/members/jbosscache/freezone/docs... particularly section 3.3 for more. http://www.jboss.org/file-access/default/members/jbosscache/freezone/docs... shows an example of using JBoss Microcontainer to create a Configuration object and then using that object to create a cache. The example uses JBoss MC and its XML schema, but what it's doing is all basic IOC stuff that Spring does too; you just need to modify the example to use the Spring schema. Here's another example of building a Configuration using the JBoss MC schema. It includes all the complex stuff: buddy replication, cache loading and eviction. Perhaps a better example than what's in the JBC User Guide, since I know it works -- JBoss AS 5 uses it. I dont think there is any such method to just return the list of comments. What you can do is get all the task instances for a process instance (processInst.getTaskMgmtInstance().getTaskInstances()) and then read comments from each task instance object. Just because portions of the heap are empty does not mean the JVM will release that memory back to the OS. If you do not want the JVM to eat away at the OS memory, set the max heap size lower. As a guess, based on what I see from the gc data you posted, I would try 600MB as a max heap size and see how that does. any help from remoting group ? Is this a know bug ? when i restart the server clients connections recover 9 out of 10 times, the one time when it doesn't recover we need to stop all the clients and start again.. is there a workaround .. thanks.
