Hey, I can see that it's possible to add comment(s) to a task instance, Is there any way to retrieve the list of comments of the entire process (comments from all previous tasks?) Hi, All; Finally I figured out the problem, post here for people interested. The problem is one of my jar file is corrupted, ojdbc14.jar, I got from our svn repository, however the jar file there is corrupted, when I do "jar tf ojdbc14.jar", it gives me the exact error as I see when deploying my test.war. Glad to know that ther eis no issues for jboss4.2.3 and my IDE. We just copy our war files to the deploy directory but we did the following first to "install" Tuscany so that it plays nice with JBoss' JVM. =========================== 3.8. Service Component Architecture Support 3.8.1. Install Apache Tuscany SCA+SDO To install Apache Tuscany SCA (and SDO) support: * Add jar files to JBoss component's /lib directory o Copy the Tuscany SCA+SDO Support Jars to ESB_HOME/server/default/lib 3.8.2. Configuring Apache Tuscany * Modify JBoss component's start-up script o Using an editor of choice, open ESB_HOME/<jboss-component>-/bin/run.sh o Append -Djava.protocol.handler.pkgs=org.jboss.net.protocol|sun.net.www.protocol to the JVM arguments variable as follows: # Setup JBoss specific properties JAVA_OPTS="-Djava.protocol.handler.pkgs=org.jboss.net.protocol|sun.net.www.protocol -Dprogram.name=$PROGNAME $JAVA_OPTS" * o Save and close run.sh o Restart JBoss service if necessary The following parameter must be passed to the JVM in which Tuscany will run: -Djava.protocol.handler.pkgs=org.jboss.net.protocol|sun.net.www.protocol The reason the addition of this parameter is necessary is that during startup Tuscany tries to open a URL that points to a directory. (It is not known why because the data in the opened stream does not appear to be used.) The Sun file protocol handler allows the "opening" of the directory and returns a stream that contains a list of files. However, the JBoss implementation of the file handler does not allow this which results in a thrown exception (Access Denied). By specifying the java.protocol.handler.pkg, the protocol handlers can be overridden thereby making the Sun classes handle file protocol requests. Handlers are probed from the end of the list, though, so sun.net.www.protocol must be the end. However, if JBoss does not see it's own package in the list, it will add it to the end thereby making it get discovered first. andrea, I did some work some months ago to see if its possible - and yes, it is. but the last months I did some other work for my OSGI (Equinox) - Riena - Easybeans Enterprise Application Server. the server itself is now running (persistence, ejb3, logging, remote osgi services...) now I'm working on the GUI (rich client eclipse RCP + dynamic generated swt views) where a beta is expected to be ready end of january. then the next steps will be to add Drools and jBPM to the OSGI server. I'll let you know... Thank You Manik I read wiki page about migration from 1.4 to 2.x Now I replace jboss cache jar in jboss as 4.2.2 in order to use jbosscache 3.0.1 Using CacheMode=Local it is working. But an exception occurs starting the war "10:57:07,984 WARN [TomcatDeployer] Failed to setup clustering, clustering disabled. NoClassDefFoundError: org/jboss/cache/TreeCacheListener" My web.xml has the "distributalbe" attribute.. but the TreeCacheListener doesn't exists anymore in Jbosscache 3.0.1. I believe that the I cannot change it.. [EJB/JBoss] - Meaning of MDB JMX attribute: CurrentSize

I'm looking at the jmx-console for an MDB (org.jboss.ejb.plugins.MessageDrivenInstancePool). Does the 'currentSize' attribute indicate the number of MDBs that are currently processing a message? Does JBoss track min/max/average type of statistics for this? i got a wep application which is packaged as a war file. i want to dynamically replace some pages in my app, without redeploying the whole app. my idea is to put the unpacked war to a static directory, so i can replace the files there. can this be done? how? [Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - 4.2.2 & 4.2.3 working EAR, does not work on 5.0.0

I get the exception message: "Error deploying bad magic number: cba78dd8" The EJB (in the EAR) is fairly basic and I have tried to keep it as minimal as possible; There is a class which implements @Remote & @Local interfaces. The ejb-jar.xml file looks like this: <enterprise-beans> <display-name>xxx</display-name> <ejb-name>xxx</ejb-name> <ejb-class>com.xxx.xxx.xx</ejb-class> <session-type>Stateless</session-type> </enterprise-beans> As the title states, this EAR works on 4.2.2 & 4.2.3. All help appreciated! It seems the documents I was using was not compatible with 3.3.0GA and unfortunately my lack of knowledge didn't allow me to address the issue on my own. Ok, here it goes the way we made it work. All the nodes are async='true' All the forks are async='true' All the joins are async='true' and lock='UPGRADE' The graph has to be legal (have certain simmetry) As explained in http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=147553. If the graph is not legal, and the joins are async you probably will experience that some branches of the workflow are not executed. In case there is anyone interested I will post the complete processdefinition.xml.
