Does logging continue in server/default/log/server.log, or is that turned off also? I suspect that something in the code you are deploying is making calls to the logging system and turning logging off (perhaps as a performance enhancement, for example, if not running in dev mode turn off logging). What jars do you have in web-inf/lib? One possible solution - remove from web-inf/lib and jars that are already present in server/default/lib. This includes removing log4j.jar. I assume that is there is a bin/native directory that you have installed JBoss Native and would like to use it. In which case, if you comment out that line you will not longer be using JBoss Native. I would change the line to set java.library.path to $LD_LIBRARY_PATH. (Why it is being set to bin/native I have no idea.) [Clustering/JBoss] - StackOverflowError when starting JBoss Cluster

I get a StackOverflow error when starting up the primary node of my cluster. Not sure what's going wrong but I found this article which has the advice: anonymous wrote : It looks like you may have specified the HA-JNDI configuration as the default JNDI configuration. The result of this is that any name which cannot be located within the HA-JNDI will cause a recursive invocation (and a StackOverflow). I don't quite understand that - where would I have made this error?
