[JBoss Messaging] - Listening to a topic in Weblogic from a MDB running under Jb

Hi guys, I've got a following question. There is a MDB that runs under one Weblogic instance and listens to a topic in another Weblogic instance. What I have to do is to make it run under Jboss but still listen to a Weblogic topic. In case of weblogic2weblogic deployment was quiet simple - I just had to provide correct 'provider-url' and 'initial-context-factory' in weblogic-ejb-jar.xml: | <message-driven-descriptor> | <destination-jndi-name>xxx</destination-jndi-name> | <initial-context-factory>weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory</initial-context-factory> | <provider-url>t3://xxx:7001</provider-url> | </message-driven-descriptor> As far as I see this can't be done that simple(just by changing name of vendor-specific xml file). [EJB 3.0] - Re: Single persistence.xml file with multiple EJB jars

In fact, only having one Jar but moving the persistence.xml into the Ear META-INF is enough to do this! Any ideas of how to move the persistence.xml into the Ear properly?! Is there any documentation available explaining the use of up_thread / down_thread attributes and how they affect JBoss Cache's performance? [EJB 3.0] - Deploy - Multiple Jar with entities.

Hi, I have a question about deployment. I'm trying to integrate three systems through a database. So the idea is to isolate each ear and it's entities. So I would have app1.ear and its app1-entities.jar and app1-services.jar. I would also have appp2.ear that depends on app1 entities and service. I decided to place app1-entities.jar and app1-services.jar at app2.ear lib. Is it the right thing to do? I mean, when I have app1-entities.jar and app1-services.jar in both ear files (app1 and app2), is it right? When will app1-entities.jar be deployed? Is is better to place app1-entities.jar at $JBOSS_SERVER/server/all/lib, for instance? Thanks in advance! [JBoss Portal] - Re: How to access portlet preferences when not logged in

I see; when I go to the instances tab, a few have a preferences link, but most of the others do not. Namely, I'm using the iframe portlet, which definitely uses the portlet preferences API. But there is no preferences link in the admin portlet for any of the iframe instances I've created. Can you explain the difference between how the iframe portlet uses preferences and how, for instance, the news portlet or weather portlet uses them?
