Hi good people! I solved the problem changing all fileset's inside the path's for pathelements's. Does anyone know what's the difference? (it can easily be explained by my lack of understanding of Ant's path-like structures!). [JBoss Portal] - invalid post request redirected to https://localhost:8443/po

I am currently testing a set of portlets I have developed for our company portal (JBoss Portal 2.4). Security is a very important and part of the tests are sending portlet requests as user, who has no access to these particular portlets. Todo so so I am using the Live Http Replay Tool in Firefox. I will "record" requests done as a user, who can access aparticlar portlet and then "replay" the requests when logged in as a user, who does not have access to the portlet. When replaying a get request HTTP Status 401 is returned. However when replaying a post request the request is redirecteted to https://localhost:8443/portal/authsec/.... Is there a way to configure the portal to send HTTP Statuts 401 instead of redirecting the request? I've got an ear with about 30 EJB modules. The modules are either all entity beans or all SLSBs/MDBs (this is to let us migrate session beans to EJB3 without having to do the entities at the same time). I've got two versions of the same ear: one pre-migration with all EJB2 modules, and one where all the session bean modules have been migrated to EJB3. On JBoss 5 the mixed EJB2/EJB3 takes a VERY long time to start up - anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes and is pegged at about 25% CPU for most of that time. The EJB2 only ear takes about 2 minutes. what do you mean by communicate? JBoss Cache is a shared in memory data store so if you mean you want to share data, then this works. Start up 2 JBC instances in each JVM, in replicated mode. See docs about this. If you want to pass messages between the 2 JVMs, you're probably better off using JMS. Hi, JBoss Portal 2.4.1 JBoss 4.0.4 I'm trying to develop a servlet in order to store the username and password in the session while login in my portal. I found something on the wiki but I'm having a few problem with the portletlogin : http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=PortletLogin 1) Why do we have 2 servlets ? (savelogin and autologin servlet) Can't we do both actions in one servlet ? 2) How the connection between the autologin and savelogin servlet is done ? String autologinURL = req.getContextPath() + "/auth/"; resp.sendRedirect(resp.encodeRedirectURL(autologinURL)); There is no reference to autologin servlet... 3) In the autologin servlet : where do we put the code ?
