Hi Vickyk, Thanks for the reply. Even we are not sure why we getting the Proxy connection object in servlet. When we tried the same approach (i,e using DataSource) in EJB we getting the UnderlyingConnection. Can you let us know what exactly you tried to setup the JSP using DataSource. [Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - Stopping the Tomcat's Jboss

Hi everyone, I'm developing applications deployed in J boss (4.0.4 version) with Ejb deployed in a Tomcat Server, server which is different from the Tomcat Server present in Jboss. I would know, if it's possible, how to shutdown the Tomcat server from Jbosss, and how to configure Jboss to not launch it when you launch Jboss. I've read the configuration doc of Jboss 4.0.4 or others and did not find any commands/configuration variables to do this stuff. Wow, thanks! I truly appreciate the help. My next plan for trying to solve this involved building hudson from source. I may yet do that, but at least I'd now know what the culprit is, and the focus would be on fixing rather than diagnosing. You've saved me time from my terribly limited pool. Thanks heaps! I have not tried this before, can you please describe a bit more what you want to do? Javadoc should not really care about @(a)org.jboss.aspects.security.SecurityDomain ("other") being an annotation? However, since AS 4.2.x is JDK 5 only, the tests should be merged as is the case for AS 5. [JBoss AOP] - Problem with annotation in test case AnnotatedSecureRunAsPOJ

Dear All I'm trying to run a javadoc doclet against the AS 4.2.2 testsuite. My doclet is running into a problem with one test case which is spitting out errors during javadoc processing: /tmp/jboss-4.2.2.GA-src/testsuite/src/main/org/jboss/test/aop/bean/AnnotatedSecureRunAsPOJO.java:34: incompatible types [javadoc] found : org.jboss.aspects.security.SecurityDomain [javadoc] required: java.lang.annotation.Annotation [javadoc] @SecurityDomain("other") This occurs for three annotations: RunAS, Unchecked, and SecurityDomain. If I comment out the annotations, my doclet works fine. I am running the testsuite against Java 1.5. I tried to correct what I thought might be the error by replacing interface with @interface in the definition of the annotation, but the got a source 1.4 error when trying to rebuild. Can someone please advise?
