I am using a unique EAR to deploy my app so i am using HASingletonDeployer as a barrier controller to deploy the HASingleton services. It's there any way to access the HASingleton instance from the non master nodes? I know this http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/JBossHASingletonRemoteAccess, but as far as i know it involves deploying something in "deploy-hasingleton", but i want my app to be self-contained and deployed in farm as a single EAR. Only applications (wars, ears) can access the "java:" context. I'm trying to configure the JMSAppender in the jboss-log4j.xml file. But when I do I get a message saying that the ConnectionFactory is not bound. [JBoss Portal] - portal on as 4.2.3

If you try to run Portal 2.6.5.SP1 on JBossAS 4.2.3, you will get a lot of errors. The reason is that the "default" configuration of JBossAS no longer contains the JBoss Cache JAR file in the lib directory. You can copy the JAR file from the "all" config, and Portal is then happy: copy server/all/lib/jboss-cache-jdk50.jar => server/default/lib/jboss-cache-jdk50.jar Disclaimer: haven't played with it too much yet, so there could be other things lurking. [EJB/JBoss] - Application Client Container

As far as I know, JBoss should have an Application Client Container (ACC), as stated in Chapter 9 of the platform specs (JavaEE_Platform_Spec.pdf). I see jbossall-client.jar contains classes such as org.jboss.client.AppClientLauncher and org.jboss.client.AppClientMain, but I haven't found any documentation regarding the proper way of using them. Can anyone point me some documentation that explains how Application Clients and the Application Client Container should work with JBoss?
