When you close the connection or session the threads should be reclaimed, so this is only going to be a problem if you create a very large number of sessions. Hi, I analysed the code more deeply, and i found that every time i create a new session using the connection (TopicConncetion) a new thread is being created. I am using jconsole to watch the threads and preformance. When i terminate the client the connection object is closed. This project is actually a migration from weblogic server. In weblogic new threads were not created with new session (seems to be a performance issue with too many threads being created). Please help me in this. I am using DUPS_OK ACKNOWLEDGE, but i need to completely get rid of Acknowledgement, is there a way for it. Change the logging level of the hibernate package to FATAL (if you don't need ERROR messages): <category name="org.hibernate"> | <priority value="FATAL" /> | | </category> or the other way is to change the Threshold of the SMTPAppender to FATAL. I'm using an email appender in log4j (org.apache.log4j.net.SMTPAppender) for logging exception to an email address. Basically I want to log only exceptions coming from log.error() calls in code. But jboss (hibernate) log some exceptions (org.hibernate.util.JDBCExceptionReporter) in error log level. So in log file I have some entry coming from hibernate even if I catch corresponding exceptions and manage them properly. Those cause unnecessary error mails to be notified. Is there a way to avoid hibernate to log errors in log4j error level? [Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - searching WEB-INF/classes

I have an Seam application deployed in an .ear file containing a .war file, and a .jar file . All the application's class files are contained in the .jar file and there are no classes in war file's WEB-INF/classes directory. Using truss I see that JBoss is searching for application class files in WEB-INF/classes , and failing to find them there, as they are in the .jar file. Is there any way to prevent JBoss searching the WEB-INF/classes directory ? as this is adding a significant overhead to each request.
