[Performance Tuning] - JBoss Performance

I have a simple Java/JSP application in which I have compiled all the JSPs using Jakarta ANT 1.5 into servlets and placed them in the WEB-INF/classes folder. I have modified my web.xml file accordingly and put all the servlet mapping entries in the web.xml file. Now the main problem is that when JBoss starts it by default loads all the servlets into the memory. I have around 7000 servlet files which when loaded into the memory gives "Out of Memory" error after some time. It does not happen in Tomcat since Tomcat does not load all the servlets during startup. Can anyone please suggest me how to prevent loading of all the servlets in the memory at the time of startup?? I am using jboss 4.2 and jdk1.5 on RHEL5. I got following error while starting the jboss server. " An unexpected errror has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine: SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc-0x000002aaaaad1373f, pid-30677 tid=1=83275584 Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-bit server VM (1.5.0_13-bos mixed mode)" Problematic Frame: V [libjvm.so+0x253765f] When i restarted JBOSS service it started normal without any error, How can i find out that why this error has occurred ?
