Hello, just to clarify the concept this is the XML snapshot of NAME-object.xml that I use to associate a portlet with a page. With this I am able to see the Application in the page HR Admin of the default portal. <parent-ref>default</parent-ref> <if-exists>keep</if-exists> <page-name>HR Admin</page-name> <security-constraint> <policy-permission> <action-name>viewrecursive</action-name> <role-name>hr_admin</role-name> </policy-permission> </security-constraint> If I want to add a different application to the same page, what I have to do? I tried to duplicate this file on the other application (obviously changing the correspondence in the other XML files), but I am able to see just one application. Thanks Rob, Ya you were correct. I have not downloaded JBoss Tools. I will do it on first priority. Actaully i copied the JBossIDE 1.6.0 Core package only and then copied the plugins and features in eclipse. I got he JBoss IDE option in New > Project. But when I select J2EE 1.4 project it does allow me to create a project but it creates a simple Java project and not a Web project. So neither I am able to run the project on server that way nor i am getting the server in the Eclipse server list as mentioned in my first post. It sounds like you did not download and install jboss tools. You only installed eclipse. [JBoss Tools (users)] - JBoss 4.2.2 GA in eclipse 3.2.1

Hello Everyone, I am a newbie to JBoss. I downloaded JBoss 4.2.2 GA and Eclipse 3.2.1. Now I created one web project in eclipse. As expected it asked for a Server Configuration. But when i tried to locate JBoss 4.2.2 it was not available. Also under the JBoss server option only two servers are listed and they are JBoss 3.2.3 and JBoss 4.0. Is there any way to add a JBoss 4.2.2 server support in to eclipse. Are there any plugins available for the same. Please help me at the earliest. Thanks in advance. It is possible to do it in different portlets but, that is working according to the technology that i am using with jboss portal.
