You need to mak your new portal as default portal. In admin ui, where you see list of portal, there should a "Make default" link next to your portal. The fact that new system properties are not found by the services until after you reboot the PC is not a JBoss Native bug - it is the operating system, and specifically the service manager, that is not registering the env var changes until a reboot. Therefore you should not have opened a JIRA. There is nothing that the JBoss team can do to fix this. [JBoss Portal] - Unexpected behaviour of login/logout in JBoss Portal

Greetings, I'm using JBoss Portal 2.6.5. I created a new portal, named testportal, with the admin console. I go to http://localhost:8080/portal/portal/testportal and I see the default page. I'm logging in. When I'm logging out, instead of going back to the default portal's page, I go at http://localhost:8080/portal/portal/default. Please help as this problem is very disturbing. Hi Ron, I see this issue was assigned to remoting 2.4.1. Am I correct in that this is not available yet - looks like it is still unresolved? I expect I could write my own file streaming service but that is very undesirable - especially as the JBoss streaming in the other direction works so well.
