[Microcontainer] - Service POJO JNDI Binding Problem

Hi there,
I am using POJO Services to initialize different parts of an application that is deployed in JBoss AS 5. I got the Service POJOs as such working just fine, but now I have a problem making some of them accessible to "unmanaged" code that is deployed in the same AS instance.
>From what I could find online the only way to do that is to add a JNDI binding aspect to the service POJO.
My first question would be, is that really the way to do it? Or is there a better way for local client code to obtain a reference to the service?
I used the SimpleBean AOP example from the microcontainer documentation as a template but when I deploy this in AS I get an error during server startup complaining that there is already an AspectManager bean installed:

I read that org.jboss.aop.deployers.AspectManagerJDK5 is what has to be used with AS 5.
Any help on how to do service lookup differently or how to solve the above problem is greatly appreciated!

This class looks suspicious. Do you have any jndi.properties packaged in your application, which might have an incorrect entry about the naming context factory? Or maybe your hibernate configuration file has some incorrect jndi configuration information. Please post that file.

[JNDI/Naming/Network] - Could not retrieve datasource via JNDI url

I have configured Jboss 5.0.0 with PostgreSQL, I renamed the PostgreSQLDS to DefaultDS in the postgres-ds.xml.
When I deploy an application, it is giving me:
org.quartz.JobPersistenceException: Failed to obtain DB connection from data source 'myDS': java.sql.SQLException: Could not retrieve datasource via JNDI url 'java:/DefaultDS' java.sql.SQLException: Object at JNDI URL 'java:/DefaultDS' is not a DataSource. [See nested exception: java.sql.SQLException: Could not retrieve datasource via JNDI url 'java:/DefaultDS' java.sql.SQLException: Object at JNDI URL 'java:/DefaultDS' is not a DataSource.
Am I missing something here?

A possible workaround for you is to :
1) Delete the nested sqljdbc.jar (of size 0) and the sqljdbc.jar.old from the sqljdbc.jar driver. As noted in the MSDN forum link that i posted earlier, the nested jars are redundant.
OR
2) See there's a newer version of the JDBC jar available which fixes the packaging issue.
