Which binary of 4.2.3 did you download, the one for JDK6 or the one for JDK5? And which JDK are you using? This error could be the result of downloading the JDK6 binary for JBoss AS and running with JDK5. It is difficuty to diagnose a problem without seeing the complete error message along with it's stack trace. The stack trace usually holds clues as to what was going on when the error was issued. My guess is that the Oracle JDBC driver you are using on the production system does not work with Oracle 11g, in which case you should get the proper driver. Also, where did you tell Hibernate that you are using Oracle 11? Post that config file. [Persistence, JBoss/CMP, Hibernate, Database] - Proper location of SqlResultSetMapping

Hi, I wonder what should be the location of @SqlResultSetMapping( | name = "kladrRS", | columns = { | @ColumnResult(name = "name"), | @ColumnResult(name = "socr"), | @ColumnResult(name = "code") | } | ) annotation, so that JPA would find it? In case I put it to one of the Entities JPA founds it all right, but logically it belongs to some "action" class which doesn't have @Entity annotation. Can anyone suggest where should I put this annotation and how can I make JPA find it? [JBoss Portal] - Failover of Portal and portlets

Hi Dragan, actually, you use JAAS on the client side (which is a Java standard), there is not much JBoss specific stuff about this. To login, you need an implementation of "javax.security.auth.callback.CallbackHandler" (which provides user/password), and perform the authentication using this CallbackHandler: javax.security.auth.login.LoginContext loginContext = new LoginContext ("...", callbackHandler); | loginContext.login(); The JBoss "SecurityClient" is just an implementation of the CallbackHandler interface. No... brettcave... jems include it.. but I don't know the option to let jems install it for a "silent" (non graphical) installation. An old collegue did this on our current production machine that has X11 library... so He installed 4.0.5GA with EJB3 (and clustering option) with the same jems.. but "graphically" He was able to select and include EJB3. Now I would like to know the option to include those option.. but in headless mode... [JBoss Portal] - IFrame cannot redirect to secure Intranet

Hi, We have JBoss Portal sitting on our web server which sits inside our DMZ (outside our company intranet). This web server has secure access to our company Intranet, where other servers sit, such as our LDAP server etc. We use IFrames in our Portal, to display other web applications. Problem being, if the IFrame points to a web application sitting on our intranet, it wont have access and cant view the web app, as the IFrame merely redirects the browser to the URL (public cannot see web apps on our intranet). Does anyone know of a way to get our web applications which sit on our secure intranet, to be displayed on our public web server through JBoss Portal? Many thanks.
