[JNDI/Naming/Network] - name space bindings in jboss

context : migrating the application from websphere to jboss application server Problem : web sphere allows name space binding using the admin console as shown below 1. Select Environment > Naming > Name Space Bindings 2. Select 'Server : server1' 3. Click 'Apply' 4. Click 'New' 5. Binding type 'String', Next 6. Binding Identifier 'myproperty Url' 7. Name in Name Space 'myPropertyUrl' 8. String Value file:///C:/dev/abc/abc_sources/abc/src/test/resources/abc.properties Next 9. Finish 10. Save i am accessing this property value in spring application context file as shown in the below snippet. <constructor-arg type="java.lang.String"> </constructor-arg> after migration , jboss is throwing the below mentioned exception with out the mypropertyUrl configuration. javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: myPropertyUrl not bound javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: myPropertyUrl not bound at org.jnp.server.NamingServer.getBinding(NamingServer.java:529) ........................ .......................... ...... how can i get rid of this exception in Jboss ? how can i configure the mypropertyUrl as a jndi key in jboss ? please let me know if you need any further information about the issue. [EJB 3.0] - RolesAllowed causes exception on client with JBoss5

Hello, I have a problem with JBoss5,EJB3 and security. If I add @RolesAllowed attribute to stateless bean and run client I get following exception: | Exception in thread "main" javax.ejb.EJBAccessException: Caller unauthorized | at org.jboss.ejb3.security.RoleBasedAuthorizationInterceptorv2.invoke(RoleBasedAuthorizationInterceptorv2.java:199) | at org.jboss.aop.joinpoint.MethodInvocation.invokeNext(MethodInvocation.java:102) | at org.jboss.ejb3.security.Ejb3AuthenticationInterceptorv2.invoke(Ejb3AuthenticationInterceptorv2.java:186) | There is no exception on server side. Note that if I use the same code and only change libraries and SecurityDomain class (other package) everything works OK on JBoss 4.2.3. Any ideas? I like storing the data in the process itself, The process itself makes a usage of the process vars (for decisions for example) and it makes my programming much easier (instead of loading few domain models I just load the process and thats it) I have thousands of processes, having almost duplicated entries is not fun to maintain. Well, back to this thread, is there a way to retrieve a process by var? are there any instructions how to do that? It seems to be pretty complicated since there is the context between the process instance and its vars. Any clue? Thanks, Asaf. Thanks for your reply, but JRockit is not an option, as JRockit will load the classes in the heap memory. But the classes won't be unloaded too. The heap space grows dynamicly. But the perm Gen from the JDK doesn't grow.
