I have downloaded the jboss-native-2.0.8-linux2-x86-ssl from the Native Connectors site http://www.jboss.org/jbossweb/downloads/jboss-native/?action=a&windowstat... and placed those inside a fresh jboss4.2.3 install in the bin folder.

How do you start the server? Using run.sh? Please post the contents of that file and also the console log (till the point where it says, it can't find the APR library). Also for the sake of completeness, please also post the directory listing of JBOSS_HOME/bin folder.

[jBPM Users] - Re: jBPM-4.2 process archive deployment broken?

i had the same problem, so i'm using the ant task deployment (which i think is pretty much the programmtic deployment). I cant' get the .bar or .jpdl that i drop in JBOSS_HOME/server/SERVER/deploy to get deployed into the JBPM repository. let me know if you figure out way to deploy with a .bar or .jpdl.

[EJB] - How can an MBean depend on some SessionBeans

I am working on a JBoss J2EE application.
I met a problem when I used MBean which depend on some EJBs.
How can an MBean depend on a SessionBean?
In JBoss4 I find a way to specify MBean depends on some SessionBeans by adding below words in jboss-app.xml
<module-order>strict</module-order>
Now we are working on JBoss5.1, it seems doesn't work on JBoss5.1
I only find the similar function by the annotation 'depends' or xml setting like below.
@Depends({"jboss.j2ee:ear=slam-slaengineear-1.0-SCALABILITY.ear,jar=slam-persistence-slaengine-1.0-SCALABILITY.jar,name=SLAPollingConfigDAOBean,service=EJB3",

[JBoss Cache Users] - Undeterministic error:

Hello,
I am using JBoss 4.2.2 with JBossCache 1.4.1.SP5 (Bundled with JBoss 4.2.2). I am using the PojoCache with LoadTime Weaving. All my cacheable POJOs have the _@PojoCacheable_ annotation.
>From time to time I am getting one exception stating that one of my objects is not aspectized (see details below). Most of the times (more than 50%) everything works fine, although I have lots of errors like the one below. Any one have any clue for this?
I have upgraded JBossAOP to version 2.1.5 and JBossCache to version 1.4.1.SP13, although I have exactly the same problem.
>From the details below I would like to highlight the fact that having AOP with debug enabled I get a message saying that my POJO was correctly aspectized:

This is really tricky. This is happening undeterministic and not always on the samo POJO. Any one has any hint for this issue? Any help would really be appreciated.

[Javassist Users] - Using Resteasy with javassist?

I'm trying to use resteasy to serve out some entities fetched by spring-hibernate.
I've configured one method which returns a POJO and works as expected:

However, if I try and return something from spring/hibernate I get an error:

I imagine this is some magic with javassist, however I think it's confusing JAX-B by not being the expected class. Can I tell JAX-B where to look for the annotations, or can I get a POJO from this object?
Never used javassist directly, so not sure how it works.

Actually, the extension I am using is ".vdb", which is zip file underneath, so I would not be altering the original behaviour. I do like Ales's suggestion of using the "jboss-structure.xml" file, I will try to use that.
