I have deleted all the other sites now from Eclipse Update Site except these ones: http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo/ http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/development/ http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/3.5 So if i get you right i should keep trying this for a while longer. Thanks for your quick reply. I did search the forums and jira (sorry I didn't mention that) but wasn't sure if it was due to the same problem so I thought I'd post this specify the unit test which failed. As far as I can tell since trying other tests(EndProcessInstanceTest, EndStateTest, etc), anything related to deleting a process instance hits this FK constraint error. I don't think its seam related since I'm not using it (and I don't really how to use it). I'm just running tests and using java classes to call the api. Anything else I can do to help identify the problem? Deleting process definitions and instances work fine in the GWT console so I'm puzzled as to why this doesn't work. I'd assume they use the same api. [JCA/JBoss] - 4.2.3.GA to 5.1.0.GA regression - heirarchical JNDI names

The JBoss Messaging guys (you have them to blame for this :) suggested I refer this issue to you. In JBoss 4.2.3.GA, I was able to declare my queues like this... <mbean code="org.jboss.mq.server.jmx.Queue" | name="jboss.mq.destination:service=Queue,name=my-app/imports1"> | ... | </mbean> ...but this gives an error in 5.1.0.GA that the namespace 'my-app' is not bound. The error is correct, it is not bound, but in 4.2.3.GA JBoss would automatically create it for me. In 5.1.0.GA, I have to do... <mbean code="org.jboss.jms.server.destination.QueueService" | name="jboss.messaging.destination:service=Queue,name=my-app-imports1" | ... | </mbean> ...so therefore my-app-imports1 does not enjoy the same JNDI 'heirarchy' as my-app/imports1. MDB itself is part of EJB3, not JMS. ActivactionConfigProperty belongs to the JCA adapter. [JBoss Cache: Core Edition] - Cache entries could not be read or replicated

Hi, Does it matter if I frequently start and destroy a cache instance in a cluster, and remove cache entries from a cluster? I'm asking this because I got this strange problem that some cache entries were able to be created, but couldn't be read. I have a cluster with two nodes as follows: 1. The nodes N1 and N2 are in different machines. Each node has a cache instance. 2. The node N1 only reads from cache. If it doesn't find an entry from its local cache, it will read from N2 via a ClusteredCacheLoader with synchronous replication. 3. The node N2 both reads from and writes to its cache. Now I have a monitor program that runs every 10 minutes. It first starts a new cache instance that joins the cluster, removes a specific cache entry using this cache instance, submits a request to the server N2 to recreate the cache entry, and at last destroys the cache instance. What's strange is, after a while, the specific cache that got removed and recreated by the monitor program could not be read or replicated anymore, even though the traces clearly showed the entry did get added to the cache instance on N2. By the way, the entry was only used by the monitor program. Any suggestions? It turned out I misconfigured the backend server, N2. I added a ClusteredCacheLoader to N2. Therefore, N2 would send a request to the server N1 when a cache entry didn't exist or was evicted. However, since N1 was the server that initiated requests using ClusteredCacheLoader, deadlocks ensued when timing was right. Minimum? Any single-core processor (Pentium IV is fine) and 1GB RAM. About 500MB of free disk is sufficient. That should handle an app with maybe a handful of EJBs, several dozen servlets/JSPs and about a dozen or so casual users. You might be able to get away with less RAM if you are running Linux (I would not try that with Windows Server.) What technologies/libraries does your app use (EJBs, Web services, Messaging, JSF, Seam, Spring, other)? What is the size of your EAR or WAR file? How many simultaneous users do you imagine? Are you considering a 32-bit or 64-bit OS? Which OS? Which JVM version? JBoss AS 5.0.1 or 5.1.0? Have you done any performance or load testing? Do you know the heap memory requirements for your app when it is under load?
