EAP 4.3, which is what you have, is JBoss AS 4.2.1 + patches + JBoss Messaging. Therefore, follow the wiki for everything except JBoss Messaging, and follow the forum posts I provided for Messaging.

[EJB 3.0] - Database independent persistence

Hi,
I have some persistent entities that need to be run on two separate JBoss servers. One of which is connected to an oracle database and the other connected to a mssql database.
This causes problems with the database specific primary key generation and the only way I can find round it is to create separate bean instances for each server. Is there another way? Could I extend the @GeneratedValue class and provide fucntionality to check which database is used and then provide the correct implementation.

[JBoss Messaging] - Re: JBoss Messaging 1.4.4 with JBoss Application Server 5.0.

JBM 1.4.4 is *not* designed for JBoss 5, it won't work with it.
JBoss 5 has different internal apis and jars to JBoss 4.x. We can't create a JBM 1.x release that will work with both JBoss AS 4.x and 5.x.
The latest release for JBoss 5 is JBM 1.4.3, and JBoss 5 comes with that pre-installed.
Howard will soon be creating a new JBoss 5 release (probably called JBM 1.4.5) which will also come pre-installed in the next version of JBoss 5.

Could anyone please help me with using JBoss Messaging 1.4.4 with JBoss Application Server 5.0.0.I tried the given sample examples shipped with JBoss Messaging 1.4.4 in JBoss Application Server 5.0.0.But it didn't work.
Could you please help me what I have to configure to run the application.

[JCA/JBoss] - MDB Reading On Remote Topic

This is the situation:
I have 2 JBoss installed on my PC (kubuntu 9.04).
JBoss A (v 4.2.3) updated with Messaging and JBoss B (v 5.0.0, native Messaging, JBPM installed).
With this commands i obtain 2 "virtual" ip address on my pc:
sudo ip addr add 192.168.0.203 dev lo

A Java web application with servlet must be deployed on JBoss A: it sends messages on a topic.

I tryed different solution but the error seems to be always the same:
