I don't agree this is a bug. Don't confuse creating queues with *putting queues in JNDI*. You can access your queue directly by doing something like: JBossQueue queue = new JBossQueue("queue_name"); you'll find it is there, just like with ActiveMQ. [Beginners Corner] - need help For days after installing getting nowhere

It's not that i've not some experience in JBoss although its pretty negative I installed jboss 5.1 , changed the DS to my sql and clearly bounced on the messages persistance problem i repaired that like 100 of others and jumped probably like 1000 others in the same problem .... i deleted tyhe hsd... persistence and replaced like I was told by the mysql-persistence ... now it complains the persistence manager is already installed and jumps into the same deadlock loop..... I'm trying to do a seam setup , spending days just to setup JBOSS is more then an overkill Can someone give me a way to install JBOSS Without the need to read 10000 pages and spending weeks on the setup . [EJB 3.0] - inject beans from a remote server with annotations

HI, I am looking for a way to inject EJB's from a remote server. Usually I would do something like this to handle the situation in code: | Properties properties = new Properties() | properties.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory"); | properties.put(Context.URL_PKG_PREFIXES, "org.jboss.naming:org.jnp.interfaces"); | properties.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "remoteserver.domain.com:1099"); | | InitialContext initialContext = new InitialContext(properties); | BeanI bean = (BeanI) initialContext.lookup("some/bean/remote")); | But with the all nice EJB3 dependency infection annotations I wonder if there is a way to tell e.g. the @EJB or the @Resource annotation to go to a different server for only one or two specific beans/resources for injection?
