[JBoss Cache Users] - Anybody tried to integrate JBossCache 3.x with JBoss AS 4.2.

Hi there, I've heard that JBossCache 3.x has significant improvement on locking mechanism which resolved the problem of ReplicationException caused by TimeoutException while writing a node which is very often readed -- which we suffered a lot. Since we are using JBossAS 4.2.x and don't want to migrate to JBoss AS 5.x so quickly, don't know whether it is possible to integrate JBossCache 3.x into JBossAS 5 as the "ejb3-entity-cache" (2-nd level cache for JPA entity beans) Is that possible? We have found a work around for this. Problem further drilled down to following calls of ObjectNode domain object(void addChild(String name, PortalObjectImpl childObject) of org.jboss.portal.core.impl.model.portal.ObjectNode). | children.containsKey(name) | Here children is a MAP(One-to-Many association) that is being loaded lazily. Because of this lazy loading, initially it is loaded as a proxy and whenever any operation performed on it, entire map gets loaded that in-turn fires those multiple select queries. Hey there, I wish I could, but I dumped them a few weeks ago once I had JBPM3 all working. Regretting that now. Also there were about 50 variants. That in itself is wierd as the spring integration docs are only a few paragraphs. You guys tempted me with promises of a painless spring integration....now I feel so cheated and cheap. ;) I will give it another hack when I have some time and be sure to keep a log and post then. Afaik, jBPM is not QA tested against MSSQL. For testing against Sybase (on which MSSQL is originally based) the jTDS drivers are used. What errors do you get? [jBPM Users] - JBPM4 with MS SQL Server Issues

I have MS SQL server database & JBPM4, by using microsoft's JDBC drivers, i am getting exception while interacting with database.... But when using jTDS drivers, its quite fine and no errors. What it means, that is jBPM internally usingn jTDS drivers for MS SQL & can't work proper with MS drivers. Adding secondary datasources has nothing to do with jBPM, it is a JBoss AS thing. Normally you get this error if the driver is not in classpath or the driver name (classname) in the config is wrong. Please take a look in the JBoss AS documentation on how to do this.
