This seems to be an issue in consumer window sizing.
You can workaround it for now by setting ConsumerWindowSize on the connection factory to a very large number (or zero).

[EJB 3.0 Users] - Missing EJB3 javaee jar in 5.1GA download??

Having some problem resolving an import (javax.ejb.Stateless), so I went looking for the associated jar in the 5.1GA release.....
turns out, I cannot find the jar (I've reinstalled 5.1GA twice, now).
My 5.1GA download seems to be missing the jboss-ejb3-javaee.jar file.
Anyone notice this? Is 5.1GA a bad download in general -- It's claimed to be stable.....

[EJB 3.0 Users] - Re: Unable to inject EJBs into an MDB listening to a remote

I've put my full stack trace below. One thing that is slightly annoying about this problem is that the errors I receive are slightly different each time.
A couple of thoughts/observations.
Once this error happens I can no longer seem to connect via JNDI (i.e. do remote JNDI lookups) on either my local nor the remote server. I have to bounce both jboss instances to be able to use a simple JMS client to connect to queues on either machine.
Secondly, my intuition is that the issue might be the providerAdapterJNDI component. How does that component interact with the @EJB injection?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

[JBoss Cache Users] - Clarification: Evict vs Remove

I've read the API and documentation but can't quite figure out a clear indicator when to use Cache.evict(node, recursive) vs Cache.removeNode(node). They both look similar in the CacheInvocationDelegate on the surface. What's the difference between those two methods - does removeNode(node) issue invalidation messages in ASYNC mode? Is one more efficient than the other?

When I look closer into the source code I can see what you are trying to suggest (extend TaskActivity) and create my own kind of task and use this one in the execute method of TaskActivity (correct me if I'm wrong).
But the actual creation of the TaskImpl object is happening in the DBSessionImpl class. Isn't it dangerous not using this anymore (it is used in two other locations as well: NewTaskCmd and createSubTask() in TaskImpl )?
Also, this would mean that I have to duplicate all the code from TaskActivity - execute method (and hope it doesn't change too much).

Thank you Wolfgang. Did you find any information about this in the Wiki? I have looked but I aeem to be missing further information about catalogs in wiki pages for the Jax-WS. Also, do you know if the Entity Resolvers can help with this. There is an example in the Wiki but it is difficult to follow due to its brevity.

the correct path to the JAR is "/common/lib/jbosssx.jar" (changed in JBoss 5.x) ;-)
You might enable logging of the security layer to find out the "real" error: http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/SecurityFAQ (question 4)
