I'm running 5.1.0.GA on Solaris. I set the port to 8700 but it looks to me like the port offset (which in my case is set to 400) is even getting applied to the explicitly set ports. If I set the port to 8300, jBoss ends up starting the service on port 8700. I'm not sure if that's intended or a bug, but it's reproducible. Hi, your WAR contains JARs of the JSF implementation, which conflict with the one included in JBoss. According to the output, you should NOT include those files in your project: javaee.jar jsf-api.jar jsf-impl.jar jstl.jar Maybe Netbeans adds those files automatically. I don't know this IDE, so it is up to you to find out how to remove them. Hi, the JAR files in WEB-INF\lib are automatically added to the classpath, no need to add those to META-INF\Manifest.mf. As you are using EJB3, you don't need any deployment descriptors besides web.xml, if you use annotations. You might try to remove them all, just to check that no error in one of them breaks your app. You might post the relevant parts of your servlet code, which don't work. And what is the error message? thanks i'll take a look at it :) however our auditing is not confined to data objects, our command (controllers must also be audited) the xsl hacks was intended to make sure that 3 fields of date modifed, date created and boolen deleted would always be added to the hbm.
