I'm not sure i understand your question. when you say 'consumption of the same set of messages' do you mean from a topic. If so the each consumer can consumer the messages within its own transaction. The transaction covers the delivery of the messages not the message itself. [EJB 3.0 Users] - Not for all ejb's are the statistics available

Hi We would like to monitor the default statistics for our session beans. We faced now the problem that only for some of the session beans are the statistics available. Is there a reason why not for all session beans the statistics available? I am not sure but it seems that only for the session beans implementing a remote interface the statistics are collected. [JBoss Messaging Users] - unregistered connectionendpoint with remoting session ID

Hi All, I have been dealing with this problem for the last several days and hope someone knows the answer. I have 2 servers (desktopwin and pclinux), each running jboss5.1 as "run -c all -b 0.0.0.0". The servlet on desktopwin sends a message to the queue on pclinux, the msg driven bean on pclinux receives the message correctly. The problem is the other way around, when the servlet on linuxpc sends a message to the queue on desktopwin, the msg driven bean on desktopwin never receives it. I turned on DEBUG, and traced down the following: DEBUG [org.jboss.jms.server.connectionmanager.SimpleConnectionManager] (WorkerThread#0[172.17.2.23:45004]) unregistered connection ConnectionEndpoint[hd-gdsxbxyf-1-nxbubxyf-80upyq-100j3] with remoting session ID ...-fbmmit9w-dj I tried to run the above scenario on 2 windows system (desktopwin and laptopwin). It worked fine, messages were received on both msg driven beans as expected. I also noticed that the same code running on windows environment used org.jboss.remoting.ServerInvoker instead of org.jboss.jms.server.connectionmanager.SimpleConnectionManager as indicated in the debug trace: DEBUG [org.jboss.remoting.ServerInvoker] (WorkerThread#0[172.17.5.11:1763]) Thread pool class supplied is not an object name For provider_url, I was using jnp://remotehost:1099. I have tested it with JBoss 5.0.1 and JBoss 5.1.0. The same behavior occurs. I have even tested it with Eclipse 3.5, JBoss 5.1.0 and JBoss Tools 3.1.0. The same behavior still occurs. Either I must live with this error or I change the PC. Something with my network settings seems to be botched. Peter, thank you very much for your patience and staying power. JBoss rocks. Okay. Lets just say this issue is resolved. I will continue my problems in another thread :P The issue i had in this thread was getting the <client-bind-url> in jboss.xml to override the clientBindUrl in the annoation of the bean. First the jboss.xml failed to read, but this was fixed by changing the schemas to 5_0 instead of 5_1. Then i had put the jboss.xml in the wrong META-INF folder. It should have been in the ejb jar instead of in the ear. When these things were resolved the remote client is now able to connect to the bean. Now i'll continue my other problems with also hooking up the bean to JBossWS in another thread. You have to modify two files to make the server and your application listen to www.mydomain.com instead of the ip address.
