[jboss-user] [Beginners Corner] - Web Console not coming up in 4.2.3.GA (Linux)

I've got a connection leak somewhere in my application, and I was hoping to use the web console to track what servlets/jsps are opening connections without closing them. When I bring up http://localhost:8080/web-console/ however, I get the system summary in the right side of the screen, but the monitoring tree structure never comes up in the applet. The applet claims it is loaded, but I never see anything. I've tried viewing it in FF 3.1. I thought that perhaps I had screwed up some settings, so I downloaded a fresh copy of 4.2.3 GA and ran that, but still have the same problem. Is there some trick to getting the web console to come up? Do you guys have any other suggestions for how to track connection leaks?
