Are you sure you do not have another *-ds.xml file anywhere? And that the configuration
you are running is the one in whose deploy folder you placed the above *-ds.xml files?
Another possibility: are you using hibernate or JPA? How are they configured? Are they
using the datasource or going directly to the database?
