[jboss-user] [Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - JBOSS log files

I have a query with the generation of log files of JBOSS. We want to shift servers to new servers, so we had copied JBOSS on the source server to the destination server. We did not copy the log files from the source to the destination server. I see, only the file 'boot.log' in the $JBOSS_HOME/server/default/log folder. But, the log files like jboss.log & server.log are not seen, do they get generated on using the system? Please, help me understand the concept. I hope, my question is clear.
