Hello Mike!
From what I get from your description you should model this as part of
the process because it is part of the process. Going back in a different way means rolling
back the transaction which saved the process state. This is intended for use in case of
technical errors but since the situation described is part of the usual procedure =
process in this case you should model this. What are they arguments against this solution?
