A page-scoped map of converter-generated GUID -> object references? Seems relatively
easy on the surface; pretty much every UI framework I've worked with has support for
doing that (using client-side or server-side state saving). Though it must not be that
easy with JSF, because otherwise I'm sure you would have done that by now :/
