Tim Tebow, the then-quarterback of Denver Broncos was approached but never signed an agreement.[2] Another potential candidate was Lamar Hurd, a sportscaster from Portland, Oregon, who was vying to become the first African-American Bachelor.[3] Several speculated candidates included The Bachelorette season 6 winner Roberto Martinez, Lowe's fellow The Bachelorette castmate Arie Luyendyk, Jr. (who was the runner-up of his season) and eleven-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte.[4] Luyendyk dropped out to focus on his racing career. You might even say he’s a great cheerleader for the Texan ways... or at least that he celebrates those who are cheerleaders. You see, Sean is pretty much everyone’s dream man, including the 26 ladies who are showing up to tie him up the knot with the hunky blond bachelor. Oh yeah, and the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders — yeah, that’s plural — he has dated. But although Sean lives and breathes the Dallas life, that’s not actually where he’s from originally. You know, like origin-ally — where he was born, people. Sean hails from the town of Irving, Texas, a suburb which is about 20 minutes outside of Dallas proper. And proper is just what he is.
