[jboss-user] [Persistence, JBoss/CMP, Hibernate, Database] - JPA : inheritance using joined strategy and discriminator co

Hello. I was testing a simple inheritance case (a base class, Animal, and two subclasses, Cat and Fish), using the 'joined' strategy... I've tried to configure a discriminator column on the base class, and distinct discriminator values on the subclasses, but it seems that Hibernate doesn't uses them. In fact, if i understand what the logged SQL statements show, it seems that the type is infered from the join clauses and the 'case when...' tests...
