Did you get around this problem and if so, how? i am having similiar issues migrating from mysql->Informix. apparently creation of timers and hilosequences table fails and a syntax error gets thrown. In jboss 4.0.0 and prior releases the ejb-deployer.xml used to have a create table statement (for timers) that had a syntax error(was meant for hsqldb only) and that was the issue. In the version(4.0.1sp1) that i am using, i don't see any create statements in this file and hence don't know how the tables are created coz i believe there lies the problem.
