Did you make sure that the name of your new MySQL datasource is referenced from the
mysql-persistence-service.xml.
By default mysql-persistence-service.xml uses DefaultDS so you will have to change this.
There are 6 places in myqsl-persistence-service.xml that need to be updated (do a search
and replace)
