To use JPA in Tomcat, you need a JTA transaction manager in JNDI. You need to know how to
set it up or use Embeddable JBoss to set it up.
An alternative to JPA is to use plain Hibernate + Seam + JSF on Tomcat 6. You can see an
example app in examples/hibernate2 in the Seam distribution.
