Hi
I have a question which I think it more related to best practices for developing process
flows. Essentially I have a GUI and a collection of tasks that need to be performed by
the user. Behind the scenes there is a workflow involved and at present the actions
available on the GUI are hard coded and then makes a call to the workflow service to
signal the next transition in the process. What I would like to do is have a service
call to the workflow engine and ask the process what actions are available for the task.
Should I have a drl which defines what actions are available based on the state of the
task? Or should I define something in the process definition which indicates what actions
are available?
Hope this made sense!
Cheers
