Could you please post the exception you're getting? It seems that there might be a problem with the retrieval of the service description from the producer. Also, you are confusing the management portlet in Portal's administration page with WSRP's Portlet Management interface. WSRP's Portlet Management interface is a specification-defined set of web service methods (the term interface here refers to a programming interface, not a user interface).
