hello, I have the same problem (for the same reason : trying to build my own UserPortlet). how did you solved this ? it seems to be a problem of class loader, with hibernate not finding it's transaction... Du to the fact that the "new" user portlet" is calling the UserModule from another war... but I don't see much more right now. any help will be great.
