You can completely avoid this problem by changing the port number for the UDP multicast in the cluster-service.xml and tc5-cluster.sar/META-INF/jboss-service.xml (the latter is important). This would be better as your server or servers (change them all if you have a cluster) would be listening on a different port and you would save some CPU cycles by not processing the messages from other servers that are not part of your cluster.
