Yes, I'm pretty sure you can get rid of it like this:
| <t:commandSortHeader columnName="firstName" arrow="true">
| <h:outputText value="First Name"/>
| </t:commandSortHeader>
|
Where it says arrow="true", change that to "false" and I think the
arrow will go away.
