Yes, there are problems with using Meldware for more than SMTP on JBoss AS 4.2 (its
targeted at 4.0.5). There is a issue open in the Meldware bugzilla for this (Hibernate
tightened up what was acceptable hql at some point), I never got around to creating a
patch.
