Ok, I guess I found the answer myself:
The EsbActionHandler writes the ESB reply to localVariable.
In a fork this means that the reply is stored on the TokenVariableMap belonging to the
path.
Therefore you must explicit get it from TokenVariableMap and not directly from
contextInstance.
