[jboss-user] [Advanced Documentation] - Deploying the web application out side the container

I need to deploy the web application as tomcat do where I can set the doc base in {TOMCAT_HOME}\conf\catalina\localhost\application_context_name.xml. In the docbase i can specify the location of the web application where the application consists the slandered file structure for a web application(but the application is out side the container). Is this kind of deployment is possible in Jboss.at least for the web application. Really appreciate if some one can help on this.
