Found the issue: Resources.getResourceAsStream("/WEB-INF/components.xml",
servletContext);
I got it working by putting the components.xml in WEB-INF subfolder even for testng unit
tests. If this was documented somewhere, then it was cleverly hidden. Obviously, I am not
in a good mood as it wasted my evening.
