[jboss-user] [Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - Jboss server only available when asking for localhost:8080\p

This is a touch of an over simplification, it is unavailable 99% of the time. The bitch of it is, an application redistributable which runs on tomcat works fine with :8080\project. I've been through the documentation and haven't found anything, but honnestly, I don't know what I'm looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if possible, rewarded wtih cake.
