[jboss-user] [JBoss Portal] - RichFaces based Ajax call in 2.6.6 ...

Hi Guys, I'm using 2.6.6 with RichFaces and PortletBridge (not the JSR 301 based but custom one of RichFaces which works with 168 portlets). What I found that if I use A4J.AJAX.Submit button this gives me perfect Ajax behaviour within a Portlet. The call hits back the Portlet and I can access portal context, portlet state, preferences everyting. Can anyone tell me whether this magic is done by RichFaces Portlet Bridge ? Also is there any limitation to this approach compared to JSR 286 based (using resourceURL) approach ?
