[jboss-user] [Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - Jboss is not starting on Windows server 2003 Standard editio

We are trying to start the jboss server (V 4.2.2GA) on windows server machine (with Windows Server 2003 Standard edition). It is not starting nor giving any error. In the command line type run and it simply returns. I have even 'C:\WINDOWS\System32' in the PATH environment variable. Still it did not start. What could be the problem? I do not see any different zip file setting up of jboss on different platforms / OS.... Any help is much appreciated.
